Useless Doctrine

by Erik on August 1, 2009

“Doctrine is useless if it is not accompanied by a holy life. It is worse than useless; it does positive harm. Something of ‘the image of Christ’ must be seen and observed by others in our private life, and habits, and character, and doings.”

    This is true enough…

John 1:14 says the word was made flesh and dwelt among us. Well, when we get saved we should likewise become the word of God incarnate; do we not attest to be Christlike?

Paul wrote, ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us…” 2 Corinthians 3:2-3
